DBE / UCP Certifications
The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program was developed by the United States Department of Transportation (US DOT) in 1983. The goal of the program was to ensure that at least 10% of the funds authorized for DOT work be expended with companies that are DBE certified. US Congress added women-owned companies to the program in 1987, which allows Galaxy to qualify as a DBE.
Galaxy is now DBE-certified in 4 states.
